Position: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Still Pond, MD
Project: Utility-Scale Solar

Job Summary:
\n We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support a utility-scale solar project in Still Pond, MD. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems associated with solar construction, including DC/AC systems, inverters, and related components.

Requirements:

\n
• Must hold a current and valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Maryland or a recognized reciprocal state
\n
• Minimum 1–3 years of utility-scale solar experience OR at least 5 years of commercial new construction experience
\n
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and NEC code
\n
• Experience working with DC/AC systems, terminations, and solar components preferred
\n
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
\n

Responsibilities:

\n
• Install, terminate, and test electrical systems for utility-scale solar projects
\n
• Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and equipment installation
\n
• Assist with inverter, combiner box, and panel installations
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
\n
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project standards
\n
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
\n

Compensation:

\n
• $45.00 – $55.00 per hour (DOE)
\n

• Must have reliable transportation

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening if required
\n
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
\n
