Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with school psychologist endorsement required
- Valid Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-age children is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with school staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve two elementary schools, providing comprehensive psychological services
- Conduct assessments, observations, and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic growth through counseling and targeted strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer recommendations based on assessment data
- Advocate for students’ well-being, ensuring access to necessary resources and supports
