Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois School Psychologist certificate required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) must be active
- Previous experience in elementary settings highly preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads and priorities while traveling between multiple districts
- Strong interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Facilitate prevention and intervention programs for academic, social, and emotional growth
- Provide counseling, consultation, and support to students and school staff
- Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and problem-solving teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
