As a Full-time Ride Mechanic at our amusement park, your responsibilities will include conducting daily inspections of designated rides and attractions, performing rehabilitation work on these attractions, and ensuring the maintenance, assembly, repair, and troubleshooting of various rides.

This position is hourly, with a starting pay of $22.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections of assigned rides and attractions to guarantee their safe operation.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations Management regarding any downtime of rides and attractions.
  • Execute rehabilitation work on theme park rides and attractions.
  • Maintain, assemble, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of rides and attractions.
  • Visually inspect and listen to machinery and equipment to identify malfunction causes.
  • Remove and/or replace worn or defective components using hand and power tools.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment, including rides and attractions.
  • Document inspections and repairs in Maximo; maintain accurate logs and records of routine and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to ride manufacturer guidelines and comply with state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a mechanic.

  • Willingness to thrive in a high-performance team environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Capability to work at heights exceeding 200 feet.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without difficulty.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
