Hourly Wage: $36.00–$49.16

Gross Earnings: $432.00–$589.92 per 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime compensated as per applicable laws).

Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts available, primarily during the day.

Responsibilities

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, patient-centered perioperative care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the surgical process while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Administer perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to any clinical changes.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise and assist OR Technicians and other support staff.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and unit projects.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain thereafter.
  • Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain thereafter.
  • A minimum of one year of prior perioperative experience or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification (AORN) is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
