Job Opportunity: Nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist

Our organization is currently in search of a dedicated full-time nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist. This role involves covering an average of 3 shifts per week, each lasting from 5 PM to 7 AM. Support will be provided through back-up call from two hospital-employed groups.

Service Line Highlights

• Our facility features a top-tier Level III NICU and has recently integrated a local Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for consultations.
• We promote vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) and have anesthesia available on-site.

Compensation and Incentives

• We provide a competitive base salary along with quarterly production incentive bonuses.
• Attractive recruitment incentives include a signing bonus, assistance with student loans, relocation allowance, and continuing medical education (CME) support.

Generalist Position Details

• Current hospitalist coverage includes 2 weekdays and all weekends.
• The hospital aims to achieve full weekday night and weekend coverage for generalist groups within the next six months.
• Call schedule is 1:7, with a backup weekend call of 1:6.

Typical Work Week

• 1 call day.
• Post-call day off if serving as primary overnight coverage; otherwise, AM-only office hours for backup overnight coverage.
• 2.5 to 3 office days.
• At least 0.5 day in the operating room.
• We collaborate on all major gynecological surgeries, with robotic surgery options available.

We prioritize family values and foster a team-oriented environment, sharing OB volume that includes a variety of high-risk patients. For current OBGYN residents, a monthly stipend is available until the position start date.
