POSITION OVERVIEW:

Emergency Nurses play a crucial role in providing care to patients facing urgent medical situations, including trauma and injury. These skilled professionals are adept at swiftly identifying life-threatening conditions and are equipped to address them immediately. They may find employment in various settings such as hospital emergency departments, ambulances, helicopters, urgent care facilities, sports venues, and more. As an Emergency Nurse, you will manage a diverse range of medical issues, from minor ailments like sore throats to critical emergencies such as heart attacks, catering to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting. A Maine State Healthcare Provider license is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain one.

Required Certifications:

This role may necessitate one or more of the following certifications: STABLE, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS.
