Cherry Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support exceptional experiences for our clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care. In this position, you will take an active role in:\n

- Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows \n
- Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care \n
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation \n
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately \n
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces \n

- Compensation: $22-25 per hour, for each hour worked \n
- This is a PT position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Saturday, Sunday, Monday. \n

- 2+ years of veterinary assistant related role preferred \n
- Proficiency in the following skills:\n
- \n
- Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments \n
- Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures \n
- Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs preferred \n
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation \n
- Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members \n
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic \n
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday \n
