Joining our team on a part time basis, you will work 32hrs across 4 days at Alders Clinic.

Cygnet Alders Clinic:

Cygnet Alders Clinic is a 20 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs.

\n

Your Day-to-Day…

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)

  • \n
  • \n

    Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups

  • \n
  • \n

    Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT

  • \n
  • \n

    Provide training & supervision to colleagues, & consultation to teams

  • \n
  • \n

    Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research

  • \n
  • \n

    Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.

  • \n
\n

\n

We are looking for someone who is...

\n
    \n
  • \n

    A HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience of working within a Personality Disorder service preferred

  • \n
  • \n

    Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT

  • \n
  • \n

    Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs

  • \n
  • \n

    Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug & alcohol problems.
