FP&A Analyst
Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Commercial Accountant to join a growing business based in Rotherham. This is a high-profile role that will partner closely with senior leadership to provide financial insight, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making.
\nThe successful candidate will support in FP&A delivery for the business, manage budgets and forecasts create financial models and report on performance across the business. Duties will include: -

- Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments. \n
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and long-range financial plans. \n
- Produce monthly management reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards. \n
- Deliver insightful variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. \n
- Support strategic planning through robust financial modelling and scenario analysis. \n
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to improve profitability and performance. \n
- Challenge assumptions and provide financial insight to support business decisions. \n
- Evaluate investment opportunities, business cases, and growth initiatives. \n
- Analyse customer, product, and channel profitability to identify improvement opportunities. \n
- Support pricing, margin optimisation, and cost management initiatives. \n
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for senior management. \n
- Develop and enhance management information and reporting processes. \n
- Monitor business performance against budget and forecast targets. \n
- Support month-end and year-end reporting activities as required. \n
- Drive continuous improvement in financial planning, reporting, and forecasting processes. \n
- Support the development of finance systems, tools, and reporting capabilities. \n
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and professionalisation of the finance function. \n
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences: -

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). \n
- Proven experience in a commercially-focused role \n
- Excellent communicator, able to deal with stakeholders at all levels \n
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling experience \n
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability \n
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders \n
- Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills \n
- Experience working within a growing, dynamic business environment \n
