\nMy client is in need of a Graduate Civil Engineer focused on Civils 3D. This entry-level role is heavily centered around leveraging Autodesk Civil 3D software to generate dynamic, data-rich terrain models, highway alignments, and earthworks and pavement calculations.

- Position: Graduate Civil Engineer (Infrastructure / Civil 3D Focus) \n
- Salary: £26,000 – £33,000 per annum, plus ICE Chartership mentoring. \n
- Core Function: To support the infrastructure design team by producing high-quality 3D digital twins and engineering drawings for roads, pavements, highways, utilities, and large-scale site developments. \n

Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- 3D Design & Modelling: Developing detailed surface, corridor, and pipe models using Autodesk Civil 3D to accurately reflect ground topography. \n
- Highways & Drainage Design: Assisting in the geometry configuration of roads (horizontal/vertical alignments) and incorporating gravity-fed sewer layouts. \n
- Earthworks Optimization: Performing volumetric calculations and cut-and-fill analysis to minimize the need for off-site soil removal. \n
- Collaborative BIM Delivery: Ensuring all 3D components align seamlessly with multi-disciplinary designs (such as architectural structures or mechanical systems) within a common data environment. \n
- Drawing & Report Production: Exporting accurate 2D layouts, longitudinal profiles, cross-sections, and technical notes from the central 3D model. \n
Technical & Soft Skill Requirements

- Education: A Bachelor's (BEng) or Master's (MEng) degree or a relevant HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. \n
- Software Competence: Acedmenic familiarity with software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and standard AutoCAD. Any exposure to MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage is valued, but not essential. \n
- Proficiency: A strong grasp of geometric design, coordinate projection systems, and engineering physics. \n
- Communication: Ability to clearly present technical concepts and collaborate effectively with diverse site personnel and office teams. \n
