Class 2 Driver (Nights)

LB486 - Class 2 DriverLocation: LichfieldSalary: £42,000 - £46,500Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.This role has been created to support a significant new customer contract, and the successful candidate will be dedicated exclusively to servicing this account, playing a key role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safey and efficiently complete scheduled deliveries and collections in line with customer requirements.
\n
• Act as the dedicated driver supporting a key new contract, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
\n
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe and roadworthy.
\n
• Load, secure and unload goods in accordance with company procedures.
\n
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues promptly.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant road traffic legislation, driver hours regulations and company policies.
\n
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
\n

Skills and Qualifications:

\n
• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
\n
• Valid driver CPC qualification card.
\n
• Digital tachograph card.
\n
• Strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety requirements.
\n
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
\n
• Previous multi drop or contact distribution experience would be advantageous.
