Litigation Solicitor (Property Litigation & Housing) | 5+ PQE

Location: Farnham, Surrey (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

My client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Litigation Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join its growing Dispute Resolution team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with a strong background in Property Litigation, Housing Litigation and Civil Litigation, particularly involving residential landlord and tenant disputes, possession proceedings and rent arrears recovery.

You will inherit a quality caseload and benefit from genuine long-term career prospects within a supportive and progressive firm.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of litigation matters with a particular emphasis on residential property disputes, including:

• Possession proceedings (Section 8 and Section 21)
\n
• Rent arrears recovery
\n
• Residential landlord and tenant disputes
\n
• Housing litigation
\n
• Property litigation
\n
• Civil litigation
\n
• Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
\n
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court applications
\n
• Negotiating settlements and advising clients on litigation strategy
\n
• Representing clients at hearings and liaising with counsel where appropriate
\n
• Managing files from initial instruction through to conclusion
\n

About You

To be considered, you should have:

\n
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
\n
• A minimum of 5 years' PQE in Litigation
\n
• Strong experience in Property Litigation and Housing Litigation
\n
• Proven experience handling possession claims and rent arrears matters
\n
• Excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
\n
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
\n
• The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
\n
• Excellent client care and communication skills
\n
• A commercially focused and proactive approach
\n

Desirable Experience

• Commercial clients with residential property portfolios

Experience supervising junior team members or contributing to business development would be advantageous but is not essential.
