Norwich | £48,000 - £56,000 | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

A six-month opportunity has arisen for a Systems Accountant to play a key role in the implementation of a new finance system for a Norwich-based organisation.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll help prepare the finance team for the transition, review existing reporting processes and support improvements across systems, management information and financial reporting.

This is a broad role that combines finance, systems and reporting, offering plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to a significant finance transformation project.

The Role

As Systems Accountant, you'll support the implementation of a new ERP system whilst helping to improve the quality, efficiency and resilience of the finance function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation of a new finance system
\n
• Reviewing and improving management accounting processes
\n
• Developing reporting and management information
\n
• Providing technical support on finance systems and reporting
\n
• Working with colleagues to improve financial processes and controls
\n
• Supporting finance projects and wider systems developments
\n
• Working closely with the Finance Director on finance transformation initiatives
\n

About You

You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong finance systems experience and the ability to bridge the gap between finance and technology.

You'll ideally have experience of:

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics
\n
• Reporting tools including Power BI
\n
• Finance systems implementation or process improvement projects
\n
• Management reporting and financial analysis
\n
• Solving complex problems and improving processes
\n

You'll be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and building effective relationships across the wider business.
