Position: Electrical Estimator

Location: Head Office

Employment: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

We’re seeking two experienced and motivated Electrical Estimators to join our clients expanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a wide range of commercial and industrial electrical projects while working closely with our operational teams to support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions.
\n

• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
\n

\n
• Carry out take-offs and cost analysis.
\n

\n
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
\n

\n
• Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
\n

\n
• Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the tender process.
\n

\n
• Support project handovers to the delivery teams.
\n

\n
• Produce RAMS for handover
\n

\n
• Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation.
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n
• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.
\n

\n
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations.
\n

\n
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
\n

\n
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
\n

\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
\n

\n
• Experience using estimating software is desirable.
\n

\n
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
\n
