Your new companyYou will work for an established international modelling agency that represents models, helping them secure work in fashion, commercial, and media; managing contracts, bookings, and career development. You will work from their central London office 5 days per week (Mon-Fri). Your new roleDue to the finance function being brought in-house, this is a busy, varied and challenging role in which you will assume end-to-end finance responsibilities including (but not limited to):

  • Accounts Payable including processing supplier invoices, preparation and execution of payment runs, processing weekly expenses.
    • \n
  • Accounts Receivable, including raising sales invoices, chasing payment
    • \n
  • Preparation of weekly agency accounts
    • \n
  • Liaison with models and mother agencies to investigate and resolve queries.
    • \n
  • Producing and providing accounting information for VAT and year-end
    • \n
  • Foreign Entertainers Unit (FEU) withholding tax returns
    • \n
  • Updating bank movements
    • \n
  • Updating suspense account(s)
    • \n
  • Year-end accounting
    • \n
  • Providing support to auditors and year-end audits
    • \n

*** This role is a full-time permanent position, 9:30am-6pm Mon-Fri, 5 days in office (hybrid working is not available) *** What you'll need to succeed

  • Foreign Entertainers Unit (FEU) withholding tax returns (essential)
    • \n
  • Previous experience working for a modelling agency, talent agency, entertainment business or accountancy practice which services creative clients (essential)
    • \n
  • Sage Line 50 (desirable, not essential)
    • \n
  • Strong Excel competency (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
    • \n
  • Ability to manage high volume transactions
    • \n
