Fire & Security Engineer (Tube-Based) – Central London- £30,000- £40,000 + Overtime, Call Out & Bonus

  • Average additional earnings of approximately £6,000 per year through overtime, bonuses, commission and call-out payments.

Role Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing and well-established company covering Central London and locations within the M25. This is a tube-based role, making it ideal for engineers who prefer working across London using public transport rather than driving.

\n

You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a variety of fire and security systems while delivering a high standard of customer service to commercial clients.

Fire & Security Engineer Role & Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain and fault-find on a range of fire and security systems.
  • \n
  • Work on Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Access Control systems.
  • \n
  • Cover customer sites across Central London and within the M25 using the London Underground network.
  • \n
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
  • \n
  • Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
  • \n
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
  • \n
  • Participate in a paid on-call rota when required.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current industry standards and health & safety requirements.

Fire & Security Engineer Skills & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer.
  • \n
  • Experience with one or more of the following systems: Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control
  • \n
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • \n
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • \n
  • Relevant industry qualifications or manufacturer training is preferred
  • \n
  • Experience working within commercial environments.
  • \n
