Group Financial Controller
\n£85-90K + Bonus
\nFully Remote (once a month travel to head office in London)
\n\nHalliday Marx have exclusively partnered with an international management consultancy and are looking for a Group Finance Controller to join the team.
\n\nDuties:
\n\n- \n
- Oversee Group consolidation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements across multiple legal entities globally, including commentary on key variances. \n
- Manage group audit and coordinate all local audits. \n
- Manage a global team of finance professionals focused on local statutory accounting and compliance. \n
- Work with relevant external parties such as tax consultants, tax authorities and auditors. \n
- Lead process simplification and optimisation through greater reliance on systems. \n
- This role will require creation of global accounting practices and procedures to bring all legal entities to one accounting standard. \n
- This role will also drive continuous improvement of relevant accounting and operational finance processes to shorten the monthly closing cycle and streamline reporting. \n
- Monthly consolidation and preparation of financial statements, including full P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow \n
- Coordinate monthly closing activities across all legal entities to achieve 3 day close \n
- Prepare monthly analysis of results, commenting on key variances against prior periods and Budgets \n
- Annual statutory audit, including coordination of all local audits \n
- Management of IFRS16 (leases) accounting for all legal entities \n
- Oversee calculation of Transfer Pricing revenue and cost for all legal entities \n
- Oversee monthly payroll posting and reconciliation for all legal entities \n
- Support wider business with relevant process changes such as billing and collection practices \n
Requirements:
\n\n- \n
- Available to start within 1 month (No 3 month notices) \n
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent \n
- Familiar with IFRS \n
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics \n
- Prior experience managing multiple legal entities, including understanding of FX revaluations and translations \n
- Prior experience with transfer pricing practices \n
- Ability to work in a diverse international team \n
- Lead a team of finance professionals across 7 jurisdictions (UK, Thailand, India, Japan, Jersey, Canada and Australia) \n
