\n\nThe Role
\nReporting into senior operational leadership, you will have overall accountability for warehouse and transport operations, site facilities, budgets and operational performance.
\nLeading a team of operational managers and frontline colleagues, you will be responsible for delivering high levels of service, driving efficiencies, maintaining compliance and developing a high-performing culture across the site.
\n\nKey responsibilities include:
\nFull leadership of warehouse and transport operations
\nOwnership of operational budgets and cost control
\nDriving productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
\nLeading, developing and coaching management teams
\nEnsuring customer service and operational KPIs are achieved
\nManaging resource planning across the operation
\nMaintaining compliance across Health & Safety, transport and site facilities
\nSupporting business growth through operational excellence and strong stakeholder engagement
\nProducing operational reports and performance analysis for senior management
\n\nAbout You
\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:
\nProven experience in an Operations Manager position within logistics, distribution, warehousing or FMCG environments
\nStrong warehouse and transport management experience
\nExperience managing large operational teams through direct reports
\nCommercial awareness with budget and P&L responsibility
\nA track record of improving operational performance and driving continuous improvement
\nExcellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
\nStrong understanding of Health & Safety and operational compliance requirements
\nThe ability to influence, motivate and develop teams at all levels
\nExperience within a high-volume, fast-moving distribution environment would be highly advantageous.
