Workshop Supervisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious luxury, sports, and classic car specialist, for a Workshop Supervisor position based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for driven automotive professionals with proven workshop management experience within the prestige sector.Benefits for the succesful Workshop Supervisor:\n

• Up to £45,000 basic salary plus bonus

• Monday to Friday working hours 8am – 5pm
\n
• One Saturday morning in eight (10am – 2pm)
\n

Duties of the Workshop Supervisor :\n

\n
• Assign work to technicians to ensure efficient workshop operation
\n
• Plan incoming work, manage team resources, and optimise technician productivity
\n
• Oversee daily workshop functions to meet deadlines and operational standards
\n
• Lead and motivate a team of 10+ technicians, ensuring high levels of performance
\n
• Maintain communication with clients and provide status updates on ongoing jobs
\n
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
\n

Requirements of theWorkshop Supervisor :\n

\n
• Previous experience working within the motor trade, ideally in a workshop supervisor or controller role
\n
• Proven track record of successfully managing a team within a prestige, sports, or classic car workshop
\n
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
\n
• Full valid UK driving licence
\n
• Ability to lead a busy workshop environment and drive team performance
\n
• Technical understanding of vintage and modern vehicle technology is desirable
\n
