About the Opportunity

\n

We are supporting a large, complex and highly respected organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation programme. As part of this journey, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Business Partnering & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide strategic leadership across finance business partnering, management reporting, financial planning and performance management.

\n

This is a high-profile leadership role, responsible for shaping financial strategy, driving organisational performance and supporting key decision-makers with insightful financial analysis and planning. The successful candidate will play a critical role in embedding a modern FP&A function while supporting the implementation of a major ERP and finance transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the organisation's FP&A and Finance Business Partnering functions.
  • \n
  • Provide strategic financial insight, challenge and decision support to senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and performance reporting frameworks.
  • \n
  • Manage a team of senior finance professionals, with direct leadership responsibility for a core management team and oversight of a broader finance community.
  • \n
  • Lead the development and enhancement of financial models, KPIs and management information to support strategic decision-making.
  • \n
  • Act as a key finance lead within a large-scale transformation programme, ensuring FP&A requirements are embedded into new systems, processes and governance structures.
  • \n
  • Drive improved business planning, investment appraisal and business case development across the organisation.
  • \n
  • Maintain ownership of long-term financial planning models, including management of assumptions, risks and opportunities.
  • \n
  • Build strong partnerships across operational and executive leadership teams to support organisational sustainability and growth.

Essential Experience

\n

  • Significant experience leading FP&A, management reporting and business partnering functions within a large and complex organisation.
  • \n
  • Strong programme and transformation delivery experience.
  • \n
  • Proven leadership of high-performing finance teams and stakeholder groups.
  • \n
  • Experience operating within matrix environments and managing competing priorities.
  • \n
  • Exposure to ERP transformation projects, ideally involving Oracle Fusion and EPM solutions.
  • \n

Qualifications
