Geoenvironmental Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
\nA new opportunity has become available for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a well-established ground engineering consultancy based in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical knowledge while working on a wide range of contaminated land and ground investigation projects across the UK.
\nThe successful Geoenvironmental Engineer will be involved in both site and office-based work, taking projects from initial site investigation through to factual and interpretative reporting. You will gain exposure to a variety of sectors including residential, commercial and infrastructure developments, working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
\nThe role will include:

- Supervising ground investigations and site works. \n
- Soil and groundwater sampling. \n
- Logging soils and rock to current standards. \n
- Managing site contractors and health & safety. \n
- Preparing factual and interpretative geoenvironmental reports. \n
- Contaminated land and risk assessments. \n
- Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators. \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related subject. \n
- Previous experience within a geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy. \n
- Experience supervising site investigations. \n
- Strong report writing skills. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
- A positive attitude with a willingness to develop professionally. \n
