Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Operative / Production Operative to join a busy foundry team in Chard.

• Work in a foundry environment.
\n
• Mould and finish (fettle) metal castings.
\n
• Carry out general lifting and manual handling.
\n
• Support production and maintain health and safety standards.
\n

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
\n
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
\n
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
\n

• Starting rate of £12.71 per hour.
\n
• Weekly pay.
\n
• Monday to Thursday working pattern, 6:45 am - 5 pm.
\n
• No weekend working.
\n
• Overtime available.
\n
• 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
