Job Description

Electrical Improver, paying £16 - £18 p/h negotiable depending on experience levels, normally 8 hour days.

\n

Standard working hours on this particular site will be Monday to Friday, also if wanted their may be some Saturday work (enhanced payments paid as would be overtime)

\n

You will be a sub-contract self employed Electrical Improver (CIS) who is experienced in the installation of containment, trunking & baskets, as the first 5 weeks of this clean room installation project (a building within a building, as in a warehouse facility) is mainly containment fitting then other duties after that (2nd fixing support, testing, wiring etc.).

\n

In this role you must be able to install trapeze support systems & fit baskets, trays & metal trunking, plus have strong experience using Lindapter systems to hang the rods off the ceiling. You MUST have done this before & be confident in it.

\n

This role is starting immediately in the Luton / Dunstable area. So if you are immediately available apply today & start Tuesday 7th of July.

Your qualifications will be fully up to date & to NVQ Level 2 or NVQ L3, ECS, IPAF, CSCS card etc.

\n

You will be a customer & quality focused Electrical Improver who works to a "right first time" approach to all works carried out, as it is crucial the fit out is to a high standard.

  • Up to date certifications (NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3, ECS, 18th Edition etc.)
  • \n
  • Must have IPAF operator certificate & a CSCS card
  • \n
  • You must be highly confident in installing containment, trunking & baskets, as the first 5 weeks of the project is mainly containment fitting then some 2nd fixing work.
  • \n
  • You must be able to install trapeze support systems & fit baskets, trays & metal trunking, having experience using Lindapter systems to hang the rods off the ceiling.
  • \n
  • You will posses the ability to work independently & as part of a small team
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail, quality focused & commitment to safety
  • \n
  • Happy to work in the Luton area, on a clean room fit out in a warehouse
  • \n
  • Experienced in reading & understanding electrical / technical drawings
  • \n
  • Own tools & Van required for this role.
  • \n
  • Available ASAP to start next week on Tuesday 07/07/26
