Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will join a busy and growing Private Client team, supporting solicitors across a broad range of matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Probate, Estate Administration, and related private client work.

The Role

\n

This is a full-time, office-based position offering exposure to high-quality private client work.

\n

Key responsibilities will include:

\n
    \n
  • Managing and progressing a small caseload under supervision, with scope for increased responsibility over time
  • \n
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence and supporting documentation
  • \n
  • Gathering, reviewing and analysing client information and documentation.
  • \n
  • Conducting legal and factual research as required
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and other third parties
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate file records and updating case management systems
  • \n

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have:

\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience within a Private Client, Wills & Probate
  • \n
  • Previous experience supporting matters relating to Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and LPAs
  • \n
  • Strong legal document drafting and document review skills
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • \n
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
  • \n
  • A professional, compassionate and client-focused approach
  • \n
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters appropriately
  • \n
\n

A law degree, CILEx qualification, or relevant paralegal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with suitable experience.
