Xpert Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Cheadle. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing environment with a competitive salary and regular overtime available.Working Hours:This role operates on a rotating two-shift pattern: Week 1 (Days)\n

- Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm \n
- Friday: 6:00am - 12:30pm \n
- \n
- Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm \n
- Friday: 12:30pm - 5:00pm \n
- \n
- Every other Saturday morning required (paid at time and a half) \n
- Occasional Sunday work required (paid at double time) \n
- \n
- Fault finding and repair during production \n
- Planned and preventative maintenance on factory equipment \n
- Working with CNC and PLC controlled machinery \n
- Assessing spare parts requirements and reporting faults \n
- Ensuring maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently \n
- Completing maintenance documentation and records accurately \n
- Supporting production teams to minimise downtime \n
- Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards \n
- Contributing to continuous improvement of equipment and processes \n
- \n
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification \n
- GCSE / O-Level education or equivalent (ONC / HNC advantageous) \n
- Working knowledge of industrial machinery \n
- Experience with CNC and PLC controlled equipment \n
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability \n
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team \n
- Full UK driving licence \n

- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems \n
- Knowledge of basic mechanical practices \n
- 18th Edition qualification \n
- \n
- Experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment \n
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload \n
- Flexible approach to overtime and shift work \n
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices \n
- Committed to maintaining high quality and operational standards \n
