The Opportunity

Are you currently working in audit but looking for that career defining transition across to corporate finance?

You’ll be working for a professional boutique corporate finance firm with a superb reputation. The group provide lead advisory services to an interesting extremely broad and ever expanding client portfolio.

Your clients will be ambitious and commercially astute business owners, entrepreneurs, investors and leadership teams and you’ll be exposure to the full remit of corporate finance. Your initial role will be shadowing / supporting the managers and directors in the group as they provide expert advise and consultancy around company acquisitions, mergers, management buy outs, company restructuring and deal financing.

This is just an epic move for the right candidate. A step into the exciting and highly rewarding / lucrative world of corporate finance and lead advisory.

It’s a chance to be involved in exciting deals, private equity investments, company takeovers, MBIs… extremely interesting exposure from the outset.

You need to be a commercially astute accountant / auditor ideally ACCA / ACA qualified.

You need to have a clear interest in business, outstanding communication skills and an ability to build relationships with business owners / board room directors / investors.

An element of corporate finance exposure would be useful but a solid technical accounting background plus a keenness to learn and develop will work.

Required:

• ACCA / ACA (top tier or professional regional firm).

• Audit exposure. Ideally experience of reasonably complex audit and a broad range of business / groups.
\n
• Experience of corporate finance transactions (business acquisition / disposal) would be hugely advantageous.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
\n
• Natural drive, ambition and a proactive approach to learning.
