Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Bander is required for an established steel processing company based in the Burntwood area of the West Midlands, working a permanent 1pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday afternoon shift.

You will be banding up processed steel coils on the back end of a slitting line and stacking blanks on the back end of a blanking line, alongside associated duties.

Duties of this Steel Operative / Bander role include;

• Banding up processed steel coils

• Stacking processed steel blanks
\n
• Palletising, wrapping and preparing orders for dispatch
\n

You will be working a permanent morning shift pattern -

• 1pm - 10pm (Monday - Thursday)
\n

This Steel Operative / Bander role will be working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities available.

The role is paying £15.00 per hour, with weekly pay whilst on the agency.
