Financial Accountant

~~Robert Walters - Financial Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid - Birmingham - £50,000 - £55,000 per annum~~Our client, a leader in their market, is looking for a Financial Accountant to oversee financial accounting processes, ensure the integrity of the Group's general ledger, deliver robust financial information, grow their career, and thrive in a diverse and supportive environment that values unique contributions and rewards exceptional performance.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

• Maintain the integrity of the Group's financial information through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
\n
• Deliver Group financial information on a timely and accurate basis.
\n
• Lead the production of the Group VAT return.
\n
• Act as a role model for the Assistant Accountants and provide coaching and skills development support.
\n
• Support the Senior Accountant with review of junior team members' work.
\n
• Contribute to Financial Control change agenda.
\n
• Manage the preparation of subsidiary accounts for the group.
\n
• Maintain effective working relationships with key internal providers.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement within Group accounting.
\n
• Ensure process documentation is maintained for all key processes in team.
\n

Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
\n
• Proven communication and relationship building skills
\n
• Advanced Excel skills
\n
