We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal, initially to assist but thereafter manage a caseload of credit hire cases.What's in it for me?\n

* Dependant on roleMain duties and responsibilities\n

• Manage caseload effectively and efficiently
\n
• Initially review liability and quantum Claimant Solicitor conduct before devising a strategy for continued handling;
\n
• Handle cases to conclusion including instructing investigators, posing Part 35 questions, instructing Counsel and making Part 36 offers;
\n
• Complete client and firm MI procedures
\n
• Comply with client SLAs, e-manual and local claims handling requirements
\n
• Achieve set chargeable hours and financial targets
\n
• Comply with Data Protection Procedures
\n

As a Paralegal you will also ensure that you comply with the relevant client policies and procedures, and consistently work in accordance with our values.About You You will have previous experience as a Paralegal and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have:\n

• Experience of handling/assisting a case load of litigated motor files, preferably as a Defendant
\n
• Credit hire experience
\n
• Knowledge of CPR
\n
• Ability to work to meet deadlines and hit targets
\n
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
\n
• Excellent communication skills
\n
