Accounts Semi-Senior

An established and highly respected accountancy firm in Preston is looking to appoint an Accounts Semi-Senior to join its growing team, with a salary of £24,000 - £36,000 DOE and exam completion.

Whether you're AAT qualified, studying towards ACCA or ACA, or have built your experience through hands-on work in practice, you'll be supported to continue your development whilst working with an interesting and diverse client portfolio.

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a broad range of SME clients.
\n
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns and supporting Making Tax Digital compliance.
\n
• Assisting with audit assignments and fieldwork.
\n
• Producing bookkeeping and management accounts.
\n
• Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact.
\n
• Supporting senior team members across a varied portfolio of businesses.
\n

\n
• Has at least 3 years' UK accountancy practice experience.
\n
• Is AAT qualified, studying towards ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience (QBE).
\n
• Has experience preparing year-end accounts and VAT returns.
\n
• Enjoys building relationships with clients.
\n
