Contracts Officer

Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit a Contracts Officer on a temporary basis.

\n 📍 Location: Edinburgh Central – Hybrid
🕒 Hours: 36 hours per week
💷 Pay Rate: £18.34 per hour
📅 Duration: Temporary (5 months)
🔑 Start Date: ASAP – December 31st

\n We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to support procurement compliance, process purchasing requests, and provide guidance on commercial procedures. You'll work across a range of systems, manage enquiries, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for:

• Strong administrative and IT skills
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
\n
• Ability to manage workloads and work independently
\n
• Experience in procurement, finance, purchasing, or commercial operations is desirable
\n
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, PECOS or similar systems is an advantage
