Quantity Surveyor (MEP) 📍 Slough, Berkshire | Permanent Looking to build your career in one of the UK's fastest-growing construction sectors? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join a specialist Building Services team delivering complex projects across Data Centres, Commercial Buildings, Education and Defence. This is an ideal role for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who wants exposure to technically challenging MEP projects while working alongside experienced commercial and operational teams. The Opportunity You'll play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of major projects, helping manage costs, procurement, subcontractor packages, reporting and project performance from inception through to completion. Responsibilities Supporting the commercial delivery of MEP projects across multiple sectors Assisting with procurement, tender analysis and subcontractor selection Preparing and monitoring cost reports, cash flows and forecasting Supporting valuation and payment application processes Monitoring project costs against budget and identifying risks Assisting with contract administration and commercial documentation Supporting the management of variations and subcontractor accounts Producing financial reports and maintaining commercial records Working closely with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes What We're Looking For Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or building services Exposure to MEP, infrastructure, commercial or mission critical projects is advantageous Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Experience assisting with procurement and subcontractor management Ability to produce accurate reports and financial information Strong organisational and communication skills Ambition to develop within a growing commercial team What's on Offer?
