Assistant Group Accountant opportunity in a good sized, market-leading Evesham business. You'll play a crucial role in helping to deliver accurate, insightful, and timely financial information. You'll ensure the integrity of Group reporting, strengthen the company's financial controls and provide analysis that helps leadership make confident, data-driven decisions. In doing so, your work will directly support the company's growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support with budgeting and intra-group reporting to Management
\n
• Performance of Group intercompany reconciliations
\n
• Support monthly deliverables to Group
\n
• Provide support with completion of the Company VAT return
\n
• Support with cashbook
\n
• Overview of the Accounts Receivable ledger
\n
• Completion of ONS surveys
\n
• Assist with the interim and year-end audit
\n
• Special projects as required
\n
• Processing of Sales invoices - data entry, but with a requirement to be able to make assessments, perform reconciliations and correct errors and issues with data - working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Bring

• AAT qualification or part-qualified
\n
• A methodical, process-focused approach and a passion for accuracy
\n
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills
\n
• The ability to prioritise multiple deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
\n
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to communicate effectively across teams
