As a Senior Underwriter you will:

• Drive regional growth by hitting income, profit and performance targets
\n
• Manage a portfolio of broker accounts, balancing strong relationships with commercial discipline
\n
• Underwrite new business, renewals and mid-term changes within agreed authority levels
\n
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key brokers to strengthen market presence
\n
• Deliver against premium and loss ratio targets while keeping an eye on long-term profitability
\n
• Ensure all documentation, surveys and reporting are accurate and up to date
\n
• Review cases to maintain underwriting quality and consistency
\n
• Share market insight and technical knowledge with the wider team
\n
• Work closely with claims, survey and other internal teams to get the best outcomes
\n

As a Senior Underwriter you will have:

• At least 3 years' experience in commercial underwriting or broking
\n
• Strong track record of managing and growing broker relationships
\n
• Confident negotiator with a sharp eye for risk and pricing
\n
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and profitability
\n
• Consistent delivery against targets and objectives
\n
• Comfortable working across teams in a collaborative environment
\n
• Solid understanding of the insurance market and trading dynamics
\n
