Location: West YorkshireSalary: £50,000-£55,000
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in engineering or manufacturing?\nElevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading engineering business to recruit a Project Manager to join their growing team.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value engineering projects from initial order through to installation and handover. You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams across design, procurement, manufacturing and site installation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
\nThis is a highly visible, hands-on position where you'll work closely with engineering and production teams on the shopfloor as well as liaising directly with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:\n- \n
- Managing multiple engineering projects from order through to completion. \n
- Developing and maintaining project plans, programmes and delivery schedules. \n
- Coordinating engineering, manufacturing, procurement and installation activities. \n
- Driving project progress, proactively resolving issues and mitigating risks. \n
- Managing project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance. \n
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors. \n
- Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation and commissioning activities. \n
- Producing regular project reports and communicating progress to customers and senior stakeholders. \n
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, quality and safety requirements. \n

- Proven Project Management experience within engineering, manufacturing, capital equipment or bespoke machinery. \n
- Experience delivering complex engineering or manufacturing projects to demanding timescales. \n
- Strong planning and scheduling skills, ideally using Microsoft Project or similar. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. \n
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and forecasts. \n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to overcome challenges and keep projects moving. \n

- A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, APMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent). \n
- An engineering qualification. \n
- Experience within heavy engineering or industrial manufacturing. \n
- Knowledge of ERP systems and NEC contracts. \n
- Previous experience supporting installation and commissioning activities. \n
