Xpert Recruitment Solutions currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welders to join a leading UK manufacturer of aftermarket automotive emissions components based in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with excellent earning potential and long-term career prospects.Your Role You will be responsible for welding and assembling automotive exhaust and emissions components using MIG welding techniques. - Perform MIG welding on exhaust components to precise specifications \n
- Assemble exhaust systems from individual fabricated parts \n
- Inspect weld joints and finished products to ensure quality standards are met \n
- Make adjustments and corrections where necessary \n
- Maintain and clean welding equipment \n
- Work collaboratively with team members across production \n
- Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE \n

- Proven experience as a MIG Welder \n
- Experience welding light gauge steel (1.5mm-2mm) \n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings \n
- Competent in operating MIG welding equipment \n
- High attention to detail and quality standards \n
- Strong problem-solving skills \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Previous experience in manufacturing or automotive environments preferred \n
