Commercial Property Solicitor

A respected and long-established Yorkshire law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (7+ PQE) to join its growing Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor who can hit the ground running, manage a varied caseload independently, and play a key role in the continued growth of the department.

This is far more than a standard Commercial Property role. The firm is looking for a confident senior solicitor with strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership potential, with a clear pathway towards a future Head of Department position.

Working alongside an experienced Head of Department, you will handle a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters while helping shape the future direction of the team. The department benefits from dedicated paralegal and secretarial support within a collaborative and supportive environment where progression is actively encouraged.

The Role

• Managing a varied commercial property caseload independently with minimal supervision
\n
• Handling acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, leases, refinancing and development work
\n
• Supporting complex transactions alongside the Head of Department
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
\n
• Playing an active role in networking and business development across Leeds and Yorkshire
\n
• Assisting with the continued growth and strategic development of the department
\n

About You

\n
• Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property
\n
• Able to work autonomously and hit the ground running from day one
\n
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial property matters
\n
• Commercially aware, proactive and ambitious
\n
• Interested in long-term progression and future leadership opportunities
\n
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills
\n
