Commercial Loss Adjuster

A Major insurer is seeking a Commercial Adjuster working from a home base to cover London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire regions.

• Responsible for a portfolio of commercial losses up to £100,000.
\n
• Role will have an emphasis on customer focus and a cost effective service handling losses on a cradle to grave basis.
\n
• Losses will be for all perils, so you must have a good understanding of commercial claims.
\n

About you:

\n
• Candidates must be at least DipCII or DipCILA or working towards these qualifications.
\n
• Good technical knowledge and experience of commercial insurance claims and the application of commercial wordings including material damage and consequential loss claims, including a commercial awareness.
\n
• Property construction understanding, with experience of working on occupied property & premises.
\n
• Awareness of flood/escape of water/fire damage management techniques & principles and a good knowledge of health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation - including Asbestos regulations and equipment access restrictions.
\n
• Experience of working in a customer focused environment, meeting customer needs through expertise and integrity.
\n
• IT literate & ability to learn new technology.
\n

Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £60,000 plus company car, bonus, pension and 29 days holiday.
