Electro Mechanical Assembler
\nSalary - £27K-£30K plus many excellent benefits including, pension, bonus, health insurance, medical, life insurance to name but a few.
\nLocation – Woking, Surrey
\nThe role – you will be working in Assembly; this position works closely with the Production Engineering and Quality departments to assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings and/or procedures.
\nSkills & Experience required for this role:
\n• Minimum of 2 years assembling mechanical and/or electromechanical sub-assemblies and products
\n• Able to work with minimal supervision, but be team orientated
\n• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings desirable but not essential
\nJob role responsibilities:
\nYou will be working within a cross-trained team of experienced technical assembly staff this role will involve.
\n• Assembly of mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings and / or procedures using equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
\n• Testing and inspection of assemblies via procedures, jigs and fixtures
\n• General assembly work to meet monthly targets
\n• Could involve working within a dust free, clean room environment
\n• Support training of new team members when required
\n• Supports wider operational activities when required
\n• Follow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD control
\n• Ensure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements.
\n• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principles
\n• Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.
