Client Accountant

West Midlands| Hybrid Working (2 days office / 3 days WFH)£170-£190 per day3-Month Contract with Potential Extension

The Role

As Client Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the accurate administration of CIS processes alongside day-to-day client accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

  Managing a portfolio of client accounts and overseeing day-to-day financial transactions

\n
• \n

  Performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate management of client funds

\n
• \n

  Processing payment runs in line with contractual requirements and deadlines

\n
• \n

  Preparing and supporting CIS-related processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy

\n
• \n

  Allocating cash receipts and resolving account queries

\n
• \n

  Preparing monthly client accounts and financial reports

\n
• \n

  Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

\n
• \n

  Supporting ad hoc finance projects and wider team initiatives

\n

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so previous CIS experience is essential.

To be considered, you'll have:

• \n

  Previous experience as a Client Accountant, Property Accountant or in a similar finance role within the real estate sector

\n
• \n

  Proven experience working with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), including processing and administering CIS requirements

\n
• \n

  Experience managing client portfolios and building stakeholder relationships

\n
• \n

  A strong understanding of reconciliations, financial reporting and financial controls

\n
• \n

  Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail

\n
• \n

  Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office

\n

  £170-£190 per day

\n
• \n

  Initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension

\n
• \n

  Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)

\n
• \n
