We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team, with a particular focus on the purchase ledger function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining accuracy and is looking to develop their finance career within a well-established organisation.About the role:

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of day-to-day purchase ledger activities while also supporting wider transactional finance processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
\n
• Matching, coding and posting invoices accurately
\n
• Supplier statement reconciliations
\n
• Resolving supplier queries and discrepancies
\n
• Assisting with payment runs
\n
• Managing supplier accounts and maintaining strong relationships
\n
• Supporting month-end processes
\n
• Assisting with other transactional finance duties as required
\n

\n
• Previous experience within a Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role
\n
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Confident working with finance systems and Excel
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
\n
• Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to support the wider finance team
\n
