Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary Income Assistant to join a well-regarded education institute based in North West London. This role is vital in providing high-quality financial and administrative support to the Income and Credit Control team, ensuring accurate processing of income, efficient reconciliation, and excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Accurately receipt and record all income received across various payment channels \n
- Complete daily reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner \n
- Process debit and credit card transactions and liaise with payment service providers as needed \n
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and control account checks \n
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with internal procedures and audit requirements \n
- Support the processing of refunds, ensuring compliance with financial policies and AML regulations \n
- Manage shared finance inboxes, responding to queries promptly and professionally \n
- Perform data validation checks to maintain the integrity of financial information \n
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes \n
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the Income and Credit Control team \n
Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role within a busy environment \n
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail \n
- Confident written and verbal communication skills \n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines \n
- Customer-focused approach and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders \n
- Good IT competency, including proficiency in Excel and financial systems \n
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks \n
- Interest in finance, income processing, or credit control is desirable \n

\nHours: 35.5 hours per week
