\nAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders by delivering technical demonstrations, training, and ongoing product support. This is a varied position that combines hands-on engineering, CNC programming, customer interaction, and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Deliver professional machine and software demonstrations to prospective customers. \n
- Program and operate CNC machinery to produce customer-specific demonstrations and showcase equipment capabilities. \n
- Provide operator and programming training on a range of advanced manufacturing equipment. \n
- Prepare and maintain demonstration machinery and showroom facilities to a high standard. \n
- Deliver remote technical support, diagnosing and resolving customer operator and programming queries. \n
- Accurately document customer issues and technical support activities. \n
- Develop engaging demonstrations that highlight machine performance, productivity, and customer applications. \n
- Carry out time studies and provide productivity and process improvement recommendations. \n
- Support the sales team with technical expertise throughout the sales process. \n
- Assist with tooling and application support where required. \n
- Support internal training initiatives for colleagues and technical staff. \n

- Proven experience programming CNC machinery is essential. \n
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming (offline and/or conversational programming experience is advantageous). \n
- Experience working with advanced manufacturing or sheet metal processing equipment. \n
- Strong understanding of machine operation, manufacturing processes, and production techniques. \n
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach. \n
- Comfortable delivering training to customers with varying levels of experience. \n
- Ability to troubleshoot technical, operational, and programming issues both remotely and on-site. \n
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
