Location: ReadingSalary: £80,000 – £110,000 + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate Employment Solicitor to join the highly regarded Employment team of a Legal 100 law firm with a strong national presence.

Renowned for delivering commercially focused advice to a diverse client base, the team advises national and international businesses, owner-managed companies, charities, educational institutions and senior executives on the full spectrum of employment law matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious practice recognised for its technical expertise, high-quality work and long-standing client relationships.

The Role

Working alongside leading Employment Partners, you will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

• Providing strategic day-to-day employment law advice to employers across a range of sectors
\n
• Advising on complex disciplinary, grievance, performance management and capability issues
\n
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception through to final hearing
\n
• Advising on redundancies, restructures, TUPE transfers and business reorganisations
\n
• Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, service agreements, policies and staff handbooks
\n
• Advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and business sales
\n
• Advising senior executives on settlement agreements, restrictive covenants and exits
\n
• Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
\n
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers while contributing to the continued growth of the Employment team
\n

About You

The successful candidate will have:

\n
• At least 7+ years' PQE gained within a recognised Employment team.
\n
• Strong experience advising employer clients on a broad range of employment law matters.
\n
• Employment Tribunal litigation experience.
\n
• Excellent technical knowledge combined with strong commercial awareness.
\n
• Outstanding drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
\n
• Experience managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
\n
• The confidence to supervise junior team members and manage complex matters independently.
\n
• A proactive, collaborative and client-focused approach.
\n
