What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Forging Operative\n

\n
• Manufacturing components to high quality standards within short production lead times
\n
• Working flexibly across finishing, grinding and forging departments to meet production demand
\n
• Assisting with forging materials into complex shapes and engineered finishes
\n
• Monitoring raw material condition throughout the production process
\n
• Preparing machinery before production and carrying out post-production clean-down
\n
• Ensuring finished products are prepared accurately for despatch
\n

What you’ll bring to the table as a Forging Operative\n

\n
• Previous experience within a heavy industrial or engineering environment
\n
• Experience operating plant or machinery in a production setting
\n
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality standards
\n
• Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments
\n
• Engineering process knowledge (metallurgy or chemistry advantageous)
\n

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm (39 hours per week). Unpaid lunch break. Overtime available at enhanced rates.
