Debt Recovery Agent

Location: Southend on Sea, Essex

Type: Temporary, ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm

To support the debt recovery process by managing outstanding accounts, maintaining accurate records, and ensure timely collection of payments.

• Chase and recover outstanding debts in a professional and timely manner.
\n
• Communicate with customers and relevant parties to resolve payment queries.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
\n
• Prepare debt reports and assist with account reconciliation.
\n
• Process payments and support financial administration.
\n
• Produce basic management information and reports using Excel and other systems.
\n
• Escalate cases where appropriate and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
\n
• Provide general administrative support and undertake other duties as required.
\n

• Previous experience in debt recovery, credit control, or a similar finance administration role.
\n
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
\n
