This is an excellent opportunity for a controls engineering professional to take on a leadership role, guiding a team of engineers while driving the design, development, implementation, and support of advanced control systems. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Controls Engineers, setting clear objectives and priorities. \n
- Drive the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems within wider projects. \n
- Ensure all control systems meet required performance standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements through robust testing and validation. \n
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex control system issues. \n
- Support and develop junior engineers through coaching and mentoring. \n
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide technical guidance and support. \n
- Stay current with emerging control systems technologies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. \n

- HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline \n
- Strong PLC programming experience \n
- HMI programming experience using VB.NET or other high-level programming languages. \n
- Experience producing technical documentation. \n
- Strong communication skills with a good level of spoken and written English. \n
- Previous experience within controls and software engineering in a relevant industrial environment. \n
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus TCP and EtherCAT. \n
- Experience working within complex engineering or manufacturing environments. \n
