We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative engineering company developing specialist monitoring and sensing technology used in demanding industrial applications across the globe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering graduate who enjoys practical engineering and wants to gain hands-on experience across manufacturing, product development, testing and deployment. You'll work on real engineering projects from day one alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

The Role\n

As a Graduate Engineer you'll gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, including:

  • Building, assembling and testing advanced electro-mechanical products
  • \n
  • Supporting the design, development and improvement of new technologies
  • \n
  • Working from engineering drawings, schematics and assembly instructions
  • \n
  • Carrying out precision mechanical and electrical assembly, including soldering
  • \n
  • Performing testing, fault finding and quality inspections
  • \n
  • Preparing equipment for customer projects and evaluating returned systems
  • \n
  • Maintaining engineering documentation and equipment records
  • \n
  • Assisting with product commissioning, validation and deployment activities
  • \n
  • Providing technical support both remotely and, occasionally, on customer sites
  • \n
  • Working safely whilst following engineering and quality procedures
  • \n
About You\n

We're looking for someone who has:

    \n
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline
  • \n
  • A genuine interest in hands-on engineering and building things
  • \n
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
  • \n
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings
  • \n
  • Experience using hand tools (through university projects, hobbies or placements is welcome)
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • \n
  • The right to work in the UK
  • \n
