Planner | Exeter | Temp-to-PermLocation: ExeterJob Type: Temp-to-PermSalary: £40,000–£55,000 DOE + BenefitsSector: Construction / InfrastructureWe're recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor for an experienced Planner to join their project delivery team based in Exeter.This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner from a construction, civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure background to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.The RoleAs Planner, you'll be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring project programmes to ensure successful delivery from pre-construction through to completion.Working closely with project managers, commercial teams, subcontractors and clients, you'll play a key role in supporting programme performance, identifying risks and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities\n

- Develop detailed project programmes from tender stage through to completion. \n
- Monitor progress against agreed programmes and key milestones. \n
- Identify potential delays, risks and opportunities. \n
- Work closely with project teams to develop mitigation strategies. \n
- Prepare progress updates and programme reports. \n
- Support tender submissions and pre-construction planning. \n
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. \n
- Assist with project forecasting and programme reviews. \n
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements. \n

- Previous experience as a Planner or Project Planner. \n
- Experience within construction, civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, energy or a related sector. \n
- Strong understanding of project planning principles and methodologies. \n
- Experience using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject. \n
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, programmes and project documentation. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail. \n
